This is one topic that always cracks me up whenever it comes up. When you think you've had enough of your boyfriend or girlfriend and you want your freedom, what lines do you use? Apart from the conventional 'its not you, its me' or 'You are such a nice person and you deserve someone better' lines, I have heard some really fucked up lines.  'I saw you in my dream with another man and so I'm breaking up with you so you can find that man'. I know it sounds crazy and I can't seem to understand it till today. Hilarious😹😹😹. I seriously have a lot of deep rooted respect and admiration for single moms because they have guts and a lot of it. I don't mean those mothers who got pregnant and tried aborting the child and because their abortion attempts were unsuccessful, had no choice but to keep the child. No. I'm talking about those women that once they discover they are pregnant immediately decide to keep the child even though the father of the child refuses to take responsibility. It takes a lot of guts to be able to put your life on hold, to stop or pause your education, to bear the shame and insults family and the public will pour on you just because you want to keep your child. I remember one time I thought I was pregnant because I had unprotected sex and my period was late. The first thought that ran through my mind was abortion. I was shocked when I heard the story of a man who ended his marriage with his new wife because he found out she wasn't a virgin as he had thought. I was baffled and I thought, when a woman loses her virginity before marriage, has she also lost her capacity to love and care for her husband and family or the ability to be a good wife and helpmate to her husband?. I know some guys who say they must get married to virgins and I always ask them who would marry the ones they have screwed. Virginity they say is the pride of a woman. I'm not going to argue that and I'm really proud of those that are able to keep theirs till marriage. Still, I have seen men who had terrible marriages even though they married virgins and I have also seen men who ended up in blissful marriages even though they got married to non virgins. I know someone that I wish I didn't ever know who always argued that love never dies but is pressed down to the subconscious but then he proved his own theory wrong. How? He claimed he loved a girl then after two years, he wasn't sure what he felt for her and he fell for another girl. Need I say more?  Love dies just like every other thing that lives(apart from God). Love dies when you stop nourishing it. It dies when you stop taking care of it. Love dies when you take it for granted or when you maltreat it because you believe it will always be there.  Some people argue that if love dies then it wasn't true love to begin with. If I should carry out an opinion poll and ask what we think of slavery as individuals, many of us would say how much we hate it and how God will punish countries that practiced it. When we mention slavery, our minds immediately go to the blacks and the whites or to what is happening in Libya when most of us are slave masters even without knowing it. I saw a woman bruise the mouth of a little girl that lived with her, the ones we refer to as 'house helps' with the head of a broom simply because the little girl who should be not more than ten years of age forgot to sweep the sitting room because she went to attend to a customer at the woman's shop. That woman would never hurt her child that way but its very easy hurting another person's child and giving such child difficult chores with no room to play and enjoy her childhood.  I saw a story on social media of how a woman used a hot iron to burn her 'house help's' back because the girl burnt her cloth whil...

I know couples have issues. In fact, every human interaction or relationship is prone to disagreements once in a while. That is why we are human. Irrespective of all that, there should be a limit to how we display our displeasures and anger.  If only the married couple that killed their less than a month old baby in a tug of war knew this, that child would still be alive. The baby was laid on the mattress on the ground and as the husband and wife began exchanging blows and punches, one of them unintentionally stepped on the baby killing her in the process. Neighbors notified the police who arrested the couple for murder.  What were they fighting about? Money? Was it worth their child's life? Will they ever be able to forgive themselves?
